Feeling a bit hopeless lately? Join the Episcopal Community for a dinner-talk with Miguel de la Torre. Dr. de la Torre is a professor of Social Ethics and Latinx Studies, a scholar-activist, author and a Southern Baptist minister. He writes, “Hope, as an illusion, is responsible for maintaining oppressive structures…[we] struggle with a God who at times seems mute, demanding solidarity in the midst of perdition and a blessing in the midst of adversity.” The presentation will be in English.
